| Personal History | Callie was born on Betazed in 2370, at the age of 8 she was off world with her parents when disaster struck. An unexpected debris field from a broken up comet struck their ship causing catastrophic damage, her parents protected her for as long as they could but eventually life support failed. When Callie awoke she was aboard a ship she didn’t recognise, ferrying her to a world she didn’t know. She was taken into the care of one of the Medical Officers at Starfleet Medical, a woman who would eventually become her adoptive mother. Growing up as part of a Federation family she was fascinated by what she saw and wanted to follow in their footsteps. She was a hard working student at school, but as soon as she hit puberty her Betazoid abilities started to kick in. Fortunately the Vulcan’s stepped in to teach her the discipline she needed to control her mental abilities, hence why she sometimes acts a little like a Vulcan where her emotions, and logic are concerned. At the age of 18 she was sponsored by her father for entry into the Academy, thriller to be accepted she excelled in her field becoming a top grade student in Psychology, and Counselling. She also excelled in her medical studies as well. Callie met and fell in love with Ryan Knight, the two married just prior to discovering Callie was pregnant. Unfortunately their relationship didn't bloom quite the way they expected and they divorced a few months later. Being offered a position aboard a new ship, Callie decided to make the break and move on to pastures new. |
