| Personal History | Jessica was born to Eric and T’Leigh Stewart in London in 2377 when the ship that Eric was being refitted, T’Leigh arrived and told her Father that she was with child after Eric had a one-night stand with her, This led to a shot-gun wedding so that Jessica would not be called a Bastard child. Growing up an only child Jessica found it hard to make friends and be sociable due to her temper which sometimes got her in trouble. In 2382 Jessica attended the Kate Middleton School for Girls where for most of the day she remained on the sidelines as she was never invited to join in with the others as they never trusted her, all it did was give her time to study, and make sure her grades were up to what was required of her by her family. It was not until halfway through the semester that Jessica made friends with a young girl named Liz Atkins. For the next four years, Jessica helped her new friend with her studies and helped her get better with thanks from Liz’s family. Jessica continued to support Liz as both of them continued to get good grades showing Jessica’s mother that she was showing loyalty to her friend by sticking with her. This made her proud of her daughter that Jessica understood the meaning of honor. It is now 2387 and both girls are attending Grand Canyon High School where they started to compete for the highest grades, also T’legh had started teaching them hand-to-hand combat to defend themselves should the need arise, both Liz and Jessica joined an Archery club to learn how to use a bow, it was during that time that Liz’s family died in a shuttle crash and the Stewarts took her in. When Jessica turned 16, she learned that her father who was now retired from Starfleet had sponsored both of them for Starfleet Academy, her Father asked both girls which branch of the service they would like to join, Liz chose operations while Jessica chose Security. Now it is 2391 and started their courses at the Academy, Jessica made friends rather quickly, This made Liz rather jealous when Jessica started to hang out with Anabelle Jenkins. For the next three years, Jessica had to reassure her adoptive sister that both of them could hang out. Now in her fourth year, Jessica received her posting for her training cruise aboard the USS Poseidon as a Security Officer which had recently been transferred to Theta fleet as her sister Liz had been split up from Jessica and sent to a starbase, now for the next 16 months Jessica has to prove she has what it takes to be a Starfleet officer and graduate with the honor of her family at stake. |
