| Description | The Type 7 shuttle was a short to medium range auxiliary craft introduced to Starfleet sometime prior to 2364. The USS Oceanus operates three Type 7 Shuttlecraft that are each equipped with two Type-V phaser emitters, deflector shields, and warp capability. While typically reserved for crew transport and extended missions, the Type 7 shuttle can be utilized to haul cargo. Typically, the Type 7 Shuttle comes equipped with a Head (rear of shuttle near exit hatch), and a Crew Lounge (replicator, seating, couches that fold out to beds, personal storage). Two areas in the middle that can store cargo or be configured for extended duration missions by adding additional crew facilities.
