The WAC Ribbon is awarded to all crew (and players) who attended the Welcome Aboard Celebration and contributed at least one line of action and/or dialogue to the event. This is a unique ribbon symbolizing the first Mission Post of the USS Oceanus and will only be awarded once, however its template can be utilized for other unique ribbons. Thank you for participating in a mission critical JP!

The "Welcome Aboard Celebration" was conducted on Mission Day 5 at 1300 Hours and took place on Refuge 2 & 3 on Deck 10 of the USS Oceanus. Notable guests of honor were Commodore Gregory Paladin, who gave the idea behind the celebration to Commander Forest Patton, and who visited from his assignment on the USS Poseidon. The celebration was conducted to celebrate the crew who onboarded, their diversity and unique cultures, their hard work and efforts on getting to this point in their career, and a celebration of fun and enjoyment for the crew as they waited for their ship to launch from dock. All attending crewmen were given a unique ribbon by Commodore Paladin to commemorate the special event, as the operation and launch of the USS Oceanus was a special dream come true for the Commodore.

This is an In-Character and Out-of-character Award to celebrate both player and character involvement in a Mission JP.
